Bath and Body OilUsing bath and body oil on your body is fantastic for keeping the skin young and moist, and if you are using aromatherapy oils have the extra benefit of the therapy of that particular oil. However there are some things you need to be aware of when choosing your bath and body oil.

Avoid any product with mineral oil in it. This is an oil that literally comes from the oil industry. It sits on the top of your skin, blocks the pores and does not allow for proper skin function. If you have essential oils in the product then you simply won’t absorb as much of their benefit if they were in a better carrier oil.

If you are using the product directly in the bath, remember the warm water that you soak in will open your pores and readily absorb any of the chemicals in the product. So choose pure, natural and organic where-ever you can.

Bath and Body Oil Base Carriers

Look for bath and body oil that has a base of either olive, avocado, jojoba, apricot or peach oils. These carriers are very fine for the skin and have anti aging properties as well. Many of the cheap bath and body oil products are also nasty. You deserve better than cheap and nasty.

Avoid any product that has ‘fragrance’ or ‘scent’ in it unless it says natural fragrance. A good proportion of the bath and body oil products on the market today will contain some form of synthetic fragrance to keep the product cheap.
Look for aromatherapy bath and body oil, pure ingredients, and finest quality of ingredients to get the most out of your experience.
